Gerry Borden



Gerry Borden received his degree in Music Education, and after a short stint in the public school system, went on to further develop his skills through church music, product sales, and finally, heritage programming with Parks Canada

Joining the Barbershop Harmony Society in 1990, he has held a number of leadership positions at the chapter, district and international levels.  He has served as the Evergreen District President, and recently completed a term as a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society Board of Directors. 

He currently serves as the Vice Chair for Sing Canada Harmony (a music education scholarship funding body) and Scholarship Committee chair, the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the new Mixed Barbershop Harmony Association (MBHA), Director of the Chilliwack Harmony Chorus. 


Gerry is President of the Heritage Abbotsford Society (formerly MSA Museum) and recently joined as a member of the Sikh Heritage Museum Advisory Board for the Khalsa Dihwan Society, Abbotsford.  

He lives in Abbotsford with his wife Linda and two cats, Sonny and Cher.
